Teaser Tuesday's: Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts

Teaser Tuesday's is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. To play along, just do the following:

- Grab your current read

- Open to a random page

- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teaser.

My teaser from page 55 of Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts:

Wasn't at least part of the zip because of what they did here, the training, the sweat, the anticipation, the intense satisfaction of knowing only a select few could make the cut and be what they were? And, hello, wasn't that the reason she didn't get sexually or romantically involved with other jumpers?

  8. I started out really enjoying the story but soon it dragged and dragged. The story and the details about the fire jumpers are very interesting and engaging but I think Nora Roberts describes the same jump over and over again. After a while, I wanted to skip forward. I still like the book and enjoyed the characters. If you like Nora Roberts work (which I do), you will like this novel. Although predictable, it was a satisfying novel.
