Happy Easter

I let this egg sit in the dye for a long time yesterday. It's the one I posted a picture of yesterday that was so bright green. Overnight it changed to show all this blue, as well. I'm amazed at how it now looks like Planet Earth. I love it!

Have a safe and very happy New Year! I'll be celebrating at home with my family. They're the people I'm happiest with and home is our favorite place to be so it's a win-win. I will make a nice dinner and we'll most likely watch a movie together.

I am excitedly awaiting the start of 2012. Normally, the changing of the year is not that big of a deal to me but oh, 2011 was a challenging year. I am hoping that the New Year will be filled with happiness, health and peace - for all that I know as well as my own family.

Excited for Easter

I think I may be just as excited for tomorrow as my kids. I can't wait to see their excitement throughout the entire day. Also, I can't wait to let them wear their pretty new clothes. I will definitely be snapping a lot of pictures tomorrow.

I am also looking forward to seeing a lot of our family members that we don't see all the time. And yes, I will admit, I am looking forward to the food, too. Come on, who doesn't like holiday meals? LOL
