I love washi tape

No automatic alt text available.

Washi tape is so pretty and I love to use it in my journaling! I use it to decorate my pages. It makes me happy. This page is one that I used on an Instagram art book party this evening. It was nice to learn that I'm not the only one who has a love affair for pretty washi tape. Although, I did already know that.

Bleed for art

Image result for writing with a typewriter quotes

I've seen and heard this quote from Ernest Hemingway many times. I've had mixed emotions and opinions about it, too. Currently, I feel as if it is the absolute truth.

Mandala progress

No automatic alt text available.

I love this mandala more with each round that I complete! Part of me is tempted to finish it right at this point because I love it so but I am going to finish it. I love the look of the finished mandala. It'll probably be done in the next couple of days because I am a little bit addicted to making this right now. Plus, I want to make another one for a special person as a gift and I'd need to get on that rather quickly. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Amazing painting

This is one of the many amazing pieces of art that was at the mortuary today. My kids and I love this painting! It's colorful, full of music, art, color and feminine at the same time.

Fused Glass Butterflies

These are butterflies that my kids made out of glass today. They will go into a 1500 degree kiln to melt down and fuse all of the glass together. The butterflies will then become a part of a mural of about 250 total butterflies at their school. I am so excited to see the finished project. I'm in love with these butterflies as they are. I can only imagine how much more beautiful they're going to be when fused and a part of the mural. I'll definitely post pictures at that point, as well.
