Star Crossed

No automatic alt text available.

This square is called Star Crossed by Helen Shrimpton. I am really enjoying making these squares (which will be turned into a rather large blanket) in cotton yarn.

Corner to Corner afghan

No automatic alt text available.

I made this corner to corner (c2c) afghan for a friend and her husband. They love it. My kids love it (and wanted to keep it themselves) and I love it! It's so warm and soft and squishy. I also think it came out very elegant in this ivory tweed.

Star Crossed square

No automatic alt text available.

This is the first large square I have made in a long time! It's called Star Crossed by Helen Shrimpton and I love it! I need four more of these large squares to cover our King size bed. Then I will attach all the squares before deciding if I need one more row of six before doing the border. That means I only need four to ten more squares before the body of this giant blanket is complete. I'm so excited and really ready to see it complete!

Another blanket

I decided to join in with the Yarnspirations and Joann's crochet-a-long. This gray yarn is super soft and squishy! I love it and I'm excited to see how the blanket turns out!
