Networking: As in any field, networking within the writing community is very important. I didn't used to think so but have definitely changed my mind about this topic. Whether you're going the traditional publishing route or self-publishing I believe having a strong network of people in your corner is key. I also believe it's beneficial to have a network of writer friends who understand exactly what you are striving to achieve.

ReplyDeleteI agree. It took me some time to learn that when you're just starting out, in order to have people read your book, you have to network, and it isn't a one way street too.
