Teaser Tuesday's - Night Road by Kristin Hannah

Teaser Tuesday's is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. To play along, just do the following:

- Grab your current read

- Open to a random page

- Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teaser.

My teaser, from page 18 of Kristin Hannah's Night Road:

It was the ugliest thing Lexi had ever seen, better suited to a four-year-old than a fourteen-year-old, but she loved it instantly.  No one had ever bought her something special for the first day of school.

  1. Ooh! What's so ugly? Is it a school thing? (eg. bag, pencil case) Very interesting!

  13. Kristin Hannah is one of my all time favorite authors. Her books often deal with contemporary issues much like, Jodi Picoult. This is a great book, dealing with raising teenagers, drinking and driving and losing a child. I really enjoyed this new novel from Kristin.
