Teaser Tuesday's - Night Road by Kristin Hannah

Teaser Tuesday's is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. To play along, just do the following:

My teaser, from page 18 of Kristin Hannah's Night Road:

It was the ugliest thing Lexi had ever seen, better suited to a four-year-old than a fourteen-year-old, but she loved it instantly.  No one had ever bought her something special for the first day of school.

    Good teaser! Lexi was a very likeable character. Both my husband and I read this book and loved it.

    I've heard great things about Hannah recently and am definitely curious to pick up one of her novels -- and maybe Night Road! A quote that whet my appetite.

    Kristin Hannah is one of my all time favorite authors. Her books often deal with contemporary issues much like, Jodi Picoult. This is a great book, dealing with raising teenagers, drinking and driving and losing a child. I really enjoyed this new novel from Kristin.
