Teaser Tuesday's - Night Road by Kristin Hannah

Teaser Tuesday's is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. To play along, just do the following:

- Grab your current read

- Open to a random page

- Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teaser.

My teaser, from page 18 of Kristin Hannah's Night Road:

It was the ugliest thing Lexi had ever seen, better suited to a four-year-old than a fourteen-year-old, but she loved it instantly.  No one had ever bought her something special for the first day of school.

  1. Ooh! What's so ugly? Is it a school thing? (eg. bag, pencil case) Very interesting!

  2. Hi,

    Have a nice week.

  14. Kristin Hannah is one of my all time favorite authors. Her books often deal with contemporary issues much like, Jodi Picoult. This is a great book, dealing with raising teenagers, drinking and driving and losing a child. I really enjoyed this new novel from Kristin.
