Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library

My kids and I read together every night. We are currently reading - and almost done with - Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein. It's a wonderful book. We thought it was part of a series and we looked it up to find out. It IS part of a series so we are very excited about that! It's the first book in the series so thank goodness for that. Also, while doing our search we found out that there is a movie based on the book. The above is the trailer for said movie. We will be watching it once we have finished reading the book. 

It's Going Down

My kids LOVE the Descendants movies from Disney. I have to admit that I find them rather enjoyable, as well. They're watching Descendants 2 this eveing and now I have this song in my head. LOL!

Cars 3 - family movie

This is a great movie! I watched this tonight with my kids and a couple of their friends. 

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Since it's Halloween on Tuesday it seems fitting to me that we have a Halloween movie weekend. Of course I know that Charlie Brown is television episodes but still - my kids love this one. I'm certain we'll also watch Hocus Pocus this weekend. I'd also like to watch Gremlins which I know isn't technically a Halloween movie but it always seems like it should be one to me. Then of course, on Tuesday there will be dressing up in costumes and trick or treating. It's all so much fun! What are your plans for the next few days as we lead up to All Hallows' Eve?

Descendants 2

My kids (and I) have been looking forward to this movie for months! Now that we've watched it we can honestly say that it is GREAT! It was so much fun and already my kids are talking about watching it again tomorrow! The soundtrack is really fun, too. I have a feeling it will be making its way into our home tomorrow.
