Spring's Serenity Read-a-Thon Wrap Up

The Spring's Serenity Read-a-Thon, hosted by Michelle The True Book Addict, is complete.  I am happy that I participated in this event.  As I've said before, I think Michelle is wonderful and I am happy to have 'met' her through the wonderful world of book blogging.

How did I do during the read-a-thon? Well, not so great.  I only managed to read half of one book - Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts.  The truth is - I'm perfectly all right with it.  I knew when I started the event last week that this may be the case.  I had an amazingly busy but wonderful week.  I'm actually surprised I was able to get any reading done at all.

I hope everyone who participated in Michelle's read-a-thon had a great week of reading regardless of the amount of pages or books read.  I know I did.

Spring's Serenity Read-a-Thon

It's time for the Spring's Serenity Read-a-Thon hosted by Michelle at The True Book Addict.  As usual, this is meant to be a relaxing and fun event.  The funny thing is, this is the least serene week on my calendar in a really long time.  I still really want to be a part of this event, though.

With a cram packed week for my family, and a writing deadline of my own this Friday - my goal for this read-a-thon is to finish the book I'm reading - Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts.  I'm also hoping to finally start (and maybe finish) Watership Down by Richard Adams.  That's it - LOL - one possibly two books.  It'll be fun, though.  and as I said, that is the point.

Have a great week!

Spring's Serenity Read-A-Thon

Michelle at The True Book Addict is hosting a read-a-thon.  I must admit, I am a sucker for a read-a-thon.  If I can participate - I will.  And since this one is running for a week - I will definitely be able to take part.  Yay!

Now, I'm just going to copy the details from Michelle's blog for you.

Monday, April 25th through Sunday, May 1st. The read-a-thon will run from 12:00am Monday through 11:59pm Sunday (adjust your time zones accordingly). Watch for sign-up in late March, early April. Remember, you can join in any time through the week and read as little or as much as you want. It's all about personally challenging ourselves and also having fun as a community of readers. I hope you will join us!
Authors/bloggers...if you would like to donate a prize for read-a-thon participants and/or host a mini-challenge, please email me at truebookaddictATgmailDOTcom

This is definitely my cup of tea.  And Michelle is a super nice person that I feel fortunate to have 'met' through blogging.  If this sounds like fun - join in.
