My teaser this week is from The Spinster's Guide to Scandalous Behavior by Jennifer McQuiston:
She was searching for a handhold, a peg on which she could hang her future. Something to define her, beyond what society expected of her. She wanted someone to love her, to share her life, but she wanted to be able to trust that person.
